Spawncamp

Terms of service

Last updated: 30 August 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Completa of Derby, United Kingdom [add your full postal address] ("we", "us") when you use Spawncamp. By subscribing you accept them.

1. What Spawncamp does

Spawncamp shows newly registered UK companies drawn from the Companies House public register, and where possible matches them to a publicly listed business phone number. It gives you tools to filter, track and export those listings.

It is a research and prospecting tool. It does not generate leads for you, guarantee any outcome, or make contact with anyone on your behalf.

2. Subscriptions and payment

3. Your right to cancel

As a consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to change your mind. Because Spawncamp gives you immediate access to the full service, you're asked at checkout to agree that the service starts straight away and that you understand you lose that 14-day right once it does.

If you didn't agree to that, you have 14 days from subscribing to cancel for a refund, less a proportionate amount for what you've used.

Beyond that, we don't offer refunds for partial months — but if something has genuinely gone wrong, email us and we'll sort it out.

4. Data accuracy — please read

Company details come from the Companies House public register exactly as filed. We don't verify them and neither does Companies House.

Phone numbers are matched to companies automatically. Our matching is conservative and shows nothing rather than guessing, but matches can still be wrong. Check before you call, particularly where we've flagged a match as medium confidence.

Registered office addresses are frequently an accountant's office rather than a trading premises.

Many newly registered companies aren't listed anywhere online yet, so no phone number will be found for them. That's expected, not a fault.

5. How you may contact these businesses

This is the most important section in these terms. Contacting businesses is regulated in the UK, and the responsibility for how you do it is entirely yours.

Before making marketing calls you must screen numbers against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate TPS. Calling a registered number is unlawful and the Information Commissioner's Office issues substantial fines for it.

Note that sole traders and ordinary partnerships count as individuals for this purpose, and many newly registered companies are effectively one person. TPS applies to a large share of what you'll find here.

You must also:

When you export data from Spawncamp you become a data controller for it in your own right, with your own obligations. If someone asks you to delete their details, you must do so.

You agree to indemnify us against any claim, fine or loss arising from how you contact people using information obtained through Spawncamp.

6. Acceptable use

You may not share your login, resell or redistribute the data, scrape the service, attempt to bypass its limits, or use it to build a competing dataset. One subscription is for one person or business.

We may suspend or end your access without refund for serious or repeated breaches.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Spawncamp running but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. It depends on Companies House, Google and other providers, any of which can change or fail. We may change features as the product develops.

8. Where the data comes from

Company information is sourced from Companies House and used under the Open Government Licence v3.0. Business listing data comes from Overture Maps under CDLA-Permissive 2.0, and from Google. Spawncamp is not affiliated with or endorsed by Companies House or Google.

9. Our liability

Nothing here limits liability for death, personal injury, fraud, or anything else that can't lawfully be limited — including your statutory rights as a consumer.

Otherwise, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We're not liable for lost profits, lost business or lost opportunities.

10. Ending the agreement

You can cancel any time. We may end your access with 30 days' notice, or immediately for a breach of section 5 or 6. Refunds of any unused portion will be made where we end it without cause.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may bring proceedings in your own country.
